Clean Air Systems, Inc.,
of Wisconsin, offers several air cleaning and air filtration solutions for
industrial applications. Our systems can help remove Welding
Fumes, Oil Mist, Dust, and other air pollutants. We have highlighted a few air
cleaning solutions below, but please
contact us to learn the extent of our air filtration products and services.
| Industrial Air Pollution Control
- A revolutionary approach to industrial dust collection,
the SFC is
the newest downward flow cartridge dust collection system. With its advanced pulse cleaning technology, greater air capacity and quick and easy maintenance, there’s no better air filtration method for your manufacturing facility.
The high-performance SFC unit is ideal for all your dust collection needs. Filtering out polluted air that commonly occurs within a manufacturing environment, SFC's many industrial applications include grinding, welding, buffing, sanding, smelting, powder bulking and more. Plus,
the design allows for field expandability - so you can add modules and increase the capacity of your system at any time.

| Smog Hog - electrically charges even microscopic contaminants, then captures them, much like a magnet, in the
collections cells. As a by-product, the SMOG-HOG collects recyclable coolants and oils for reuse, discharging only safe, breathable air back into the workplace.
Smog Hog can be used in the
following applications: |

|
- Machining - Processes such as CNC machining, gear cutting, cold heading and screw machining still produce levels of oil smoke and coolant mist which must be controlled. If ignored these emissions can build up to levels which pose Health and Safety problems.
-
Welding - MMA, MIG, TIG, resistance and robotic weld smoke pose real operator Health and Safety worries due to the heavy metal concentrations present in such emissions, in addition to this further problems arise when using dressing and sealants which produce 'sticky' emissions. The potential for operator absenteeism and the adverse effect on productivity make the control of welding emissions a high priority for companies using these manufacturing processes.
-
Other Processes -
Smog-Hog is also suitable for controlling the emissions from numerous other manufacturing processes such as rubber
moulding, paper embossing, stentering, heat treatment and deep fat frying.
|
Smog Hog is available as Ducted systems and Unducted systems.
- Ducted Systems -
Source Capture Systems -
This refers to the technique by which particulate created by various processes are collected directly at the point of generation. This prevents the particles from entering the operators
breathing zone and dispersing into the workshop air.
-
Unducted Systems -
One or more Smog-Hog units can comprise an unducted system when positioned in the overhead workshop space to create a planned re-circulatory air pattern.
The unducted system is suitable when source capture is impractical due to diverse component size, over-head cranes or workshop layout.

| BDC Dust
Collector - A compact, self-cleaning,
continuous-duty system that economically meets the needs of most every industrial
dust collection application. This advanced system utilizes a pulse-jet
cleaning system that effectively “pulses-off” the captured dust and cleans the filter while the system stays on-line.
The BDC Series provides superior design and performance
with advanced, maintenance-friendly features. Its heavy-duty, rugged construction and factory-assembled sections ensures quick
installation and years of dependable performance. |
